If sowing directly, aim to sow 1.95 inches (5.0 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 3.9 inches (10.0 cm).

Ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant - Bean 'Rattlesnake' is known for growing to a height of approximately 40.0 cm (that's 1.30 feet in imperial).

Remember to water moderately.

A soil ph of between 6.0 and 6.8 is ideal for Bean 'Rattlesnake' as it does best in acidic soil so test your soil acidity often.

Bean 'Rattlesnake' tends to be susceptible to Bean rust, Mexican beetle, Aphids, Leaf hoppers, and Spider Mites so keep a note of any developing symptoms.
