This planting has been archived (Harvested)

I got this transplant from a local farm. It was raised without chemicals, but is not certified organic. It’s a purple bell pepper — I don’t know what kind.

How are your purple bell peppers doing? I also have a purple one, it’s actually called lilac but moves into the purple stage on it’s way to crimson. Mine is suppose to start out Ivory but since I bought it after it had already turned lilac, I never had the chance to see it’s Ivory stage. I only have the one growing on the bush and the bush itself is smallish so I was wondering how yours was doing?

Mine is ok. It’s partially shaded by a giant tomato plant, so it’s growing a bit slower than my other peppers. I got mine as a smallish transplant, so it has blooms on it right now, but no fruit. It seems to be doing fine, although I am starting to wonder if it will ever fruit!

I bought mine from a small, local farm. I don’t have a lot of information about what sort of pepper it is. I’ll watch it closely to see if it starts out ivory too!
