iechris's Camellia sasanqua 'Hana Jiman'

Plant: Camellia sasanqua (Camellia sasanqua) | Variety: Hana Jiman | 0 |

I have been trying to figure out what to do with the side of my foundation bed for over a year. I have gone back and forth on ideas and been unable to decide on anything. Finally Bobbie suggested a sasanqua camellia, which would be evergreen, would bloom and will hopefully be able to deal with the sun.

After trips to a number of local nurseries, I found this plant that is supposed to be a dwarf, 4-6 feet, for a good price at Lichetenfelt Nursery. I thought it had a nice shape and it seems to be just what the space needed. It has a Stella D’Oro daylily on each side and lirope in front.
