Loratika's Eggplant 'Black Beauty' x 1 Blooming

This is now a somewhat neglected eggplant bush that is about 4’ high and 6’ wide. It looks kind of bad now, but it’s been producing going on four years now and as soon as I prune it some and fertilize it some (organically), I think it will start producing again.
This last season it produced fruit abundantly. I was a little afraid to let them grow as big as they did (the size of a child’s head), but they were still tender and flavorful. It wasn’t really bothered too much by pests or disease and I didn’t really feed it and hardly watered it. I can’t wait to see what this year brings!
