misskittin's Dahlia 'Bishop Of Llandaff' x 1 Breaking Dormancy
Plant: Dinner Plate Dahlia (Dahlia pinnata) | Variety: Bishop Of Llandaff

I’ve never had much luck with dahlias: Either the slugs get them, or I forget about then, and they get killed by the first frost. This is an attempt to take dahlia growing beyond that!
Hurrah for B+Q!
2011: Well… The Dahlia growing has “gone beyond”! I haven’t killed this one, nor do the slugs seem to have found it! I also have several other Dahlias doing rather well…
2012: Thought I’d managed to kill it… But it just keeps coming back
19th June: This plant is SO not Bishop of Llandaff (the leaves are green, not black: Bugger!)

^ LOL, most of my plants end up being of dubious provenance from “home improvement” stores and Supermarkets…
