This was a gift from my wife’s grandmother before she passed. She had my mother-in-law pick it out because she remembered me talking about a big magnolia that used to be in the front yard of my house (once my grandparents’ house). Named Tiberius after James Tiberius Kirk, since Kirk was her last name. Tiberius is a good, strong name for what is a good, strong tree. The blossoms are HUGE for such a small tree, even compared to the leaves. He produces them for us 2-3 times a year. I love this little tree!
