It’s a tree. There are two of them. My best guess is it’s a kind of dogwood. But I don’t know anything about dogwoods… this is just from hours spent on images.google.com entering arbitrary tree varieties. All I know is that it’s not a eucalyptus, and I can’t have a eucalyptus, and I haven’t seen a eucalyptus for months, which makes me sad.

I have to agree…dogwood. Can’t tell if it is American or Kousa, the fruit will tell you that. American is red, shiny berries in clusters. Kousa (or Japanese) is also red but raspberry looking single berries.
