I bought most of these tubers in 2006. I had no idea what I was doing, but forged ahead in ignorance and didn’t burn the leaves until I’d gotten some pretty flowers. Then I left them in pots/hanging baskets over the winter – too lazy to dig and dry out the tubers and carefully store them someplace cold and dry. We had a dry winter and come spring, they all popped back up, to my great surprise.
Last summer, they grew quite nicely. So I took the same tack this winter, left them in pots/baskets, but lost a few to rot this time around.
