I love avocados and this should also make a good shade tree. It is an uncommon variety, but it got a good write-up by Daley’s, and is also meant to set fruit well by itselft. It could get quite large, but i plant to prune it to keep it manageable. I’m a bit concerned about the drainage at our place, as avocados are very sensitive to poor drainage, but i plan to improve the soil and buil a raised bed before planting it out into the ground
