I harvested my first year’s growth of horseradish last fall, and let the smallest roots stay in the ground over the winter. This year I have a luxuriant growth of new small plants. They definitely spread very fast! I expect in 2-3 years they’ll be “invasive” hehe.
They are still in the same spot where they were last year, but since I did a crop rotation they are now in the “brassicas bed” instead of the “roots bed”.

kbaichtal's Horseradish Care Instructions
Ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant - Horseradish is known for growing to a height of approximately 60.0 cm (that's 1.95 feet in imperial).
Your garden has full sun light - a partial sun position will ensure your plant thrives.
Try to apply water fairly sparingly.
More information about Horseradish is available in the Folia gardener's wiki. All Horseradish Care Instructions have been kindly provided by our members.
