Purchased this years ago but it sat in a pot for a year after I dug it up. These things are nearly impossible to take apart. Had to use a shovel so I hope they survive being transplanted.
These survived not only transplanting but being accidentally mowed as well.

If sowing directly, aim to sow 0.58 inches (1.5 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 3.9 inches (10.0 cm).
Ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant - Garlic chive is known for growing to a height of approximately 50.0 cm (that's 1.62 feet in imperial).
Your garden has full sun light which is ideal for Garlic chive.
Remember to water moderately.
Your garden's USDA Hardiness Zone (10b) is within the ideal range for Garlic chive. The recommended range is between Zone 4 and 13.
Try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.0 and 7.0 as Garlic chive likes to be in acidic to neutral soil.
