It has been in the garden for years. For the first few years it was trained, then the public footpath had to be taken up but the elderly Italian council worker careful trimmed it – much better than I ever did.

More recently it got out of hand, so I just hacked it back in preparation of clearing the way for the scaffold to go up against the fence. It has come back with a vengeance. This is fortunate, as I have not been able to get any of my cuttings to survive so far.
