Transplanted on 3/20/11 into a “gritty mix” from a recipe I found on Gardenweb: equal parts pine bark fines, pelletized diatomaceous earth and pea gravel, amended with bone meal, blood meal, garden lime, soft rock phosphate, and TX greensand.
Fertilized with earthworm castings and Garden-Tone/Plant-Tone at planting, and either watered or foliar-fed once every other week with diluted seaweed extract and emulsified fish fertilizer.
