Saw this pretty lily and decided to get it to add to the perennial bed, as I’m sure the Stargazer bulbs I planted this year won’t bloom (they may not even appear). I put it in the right hand side, where the mallow was last year (they do not seem to have survived the winter). Some of the plants were blooming, so I could see the flowers, but I picked one that had a lot of unopened pods, as I want to be the one to enjoy the flowers.
Unfortunately, no cultivator tag. Yes, I almost didn’t buy it because of this, but the flower was pretty and the price was good.

Hi there! I planted three Oriental Lilies this year for the first time. I haven’t seen a mature up close and personal, so I’m curious if there are multiple flower for each plant? I’m assuming there are, but right now, here in Maine, they’re looking pretty singular.
Thanks. Your is beautiful!

Yep, multiple pods one each stem. Several of my lilies have multiple stems from one bulb, each with at least 5 pods.
