I bought this AV for $5 at the CM nursing home at their annual flower show to benefit the activities department. The variegated leaves really caught my eye, and probably was the deciding factor in the purchase. It looks very healthy and pretty – semidouble, pink/lavender flowers, white and medium green variegated leaves, back of leaves a rosy color.
UPDATE: 10 July 2011 – This AV is probably Optimara ’Romance. Will watch as it goes through the next blooming cycle.
