spidra's Snow Pea 'Taichung 13' x 3

Plant: Snap Pea (Pisum sativum var. macrocarpon) | Variety: Taichung 13 | 3 | Neutral

Kitazawa seeds are pretty expensive and Berkeley Bowl seemed to have them lower than garden stores so I splurged on another snow pea variety.This one is supposed to be sweeter than Taichung 11. It has white flowers instead of the charming white-pale pink ones that Taichung 11 has.

I haven’t yet learned a better system on Folia to put a listing “on ice” until I plant again. I don’t want to have to enter all that info again. So I just move it to The Grim Reaper until I replant.

BTW – if you’re a Berkeley person, you might be interested to know that Berkeley Hort doesn’t seem to carry Seeds of Change anymore. However, they are carrying Seed Savers.

I may have to check it out though… Usually I just go to Orchard Nursery, which is right in town. and which has a very good plant selection (and great organic potting soil) but in terms of seeds is not so hot (oh, they have a lot but they are all “standard” varieties of things).
