An old Italian variety that was introduced in 1890. Non-uniform maturation and abundant side shoots make for an extended harvest, even after the main heads are harvested. An excellent addition to spring and fall gardens.

If sowing directly, aim to sow 0.39 inches (1.0 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 1.17 inches (3.0 cm).

Ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant - Broccoli 'De cicco' is known for growing to a height of approximately 50.0 cm (that's 1.62 feet in imperial).
