spidra's Pumpkin 'Sugar Pie'

Terry grows a giant pumpkin every year as a charity fundraiser. He mentioned on his podcast that he’d never tasted pumpkin. I wanted to make sure he didn’t try the giant variety and go off eating pumpkins forever. So I sent him a pie type pumpkin. He received the seeds on April 5 and mentioned them on the April 11, 2008 episode of The Jeremy Vine Show Since he shook them over the phone to Jeremy, I assumed he hadn’t planted them yet. However, I’m selecting April 11 as the start date.
