I rescued spider plants from the flower bed at the condo also. I had put a few in a bed when I first moved there and over the years they had grown to cover about 3-4 square feet of the bed. Winter was harsh on the one I brought to Dallas with me and all I had left was one baby with 2 leaves. So I pulled some from the flower bed to bring with me and try again. Note to self: will not over-winter outside in Dallas.
