Day 81 Dec07
Tomato 'Brandywine Pink' Fruits!
The very first fruit to set was eaten by worms, but the rest seem to be doing fine. We’ve now got about 5 tomatoes per plant set and getting bigger, with numerous flowers still on the plants.
I’m not sure what colour these will be when it comes time to pick them, but I can tell that they aren’t ready yet. The fruit is either bell shaped on some plants, or roma shaped on others.
I love touching the tomato plant leaves and getting that delicious smell on my fingers.

Day 53 Nov09
Tomato 'Brandywine Pink' Knee high plants - with flowers
Well, the tomoto plants really took off once they were in the ground. They’re now knee height when I’m standing on the three-quarter-foot deep straw currently acting as mulch. A few of them have a few flowers attached.
Contrary to all advice I am just letting the sprinklers hit them on the leaves and they seem to be thriving. No signs of mould anywhere (knock on wood).
Looking forward (with glee) to a decent crop of tomatoes this year.
