Annet Annet's Turnip greens
Brassica rapa var. rapa

Out with the old, in with the new. I’ve harvested my coriander seeds, they’re now drying in the shed. I sowed some turnip greens in the old coriander bed. Anything to keep those salads going into autumn.

They are yummy :) They’re usually the first salad green in spring, and they should work well in autumn also. Definitely a bit of a cold-weather plant

I have a book that lists all the green vegetables and roots. Turnip greens are used for salads as well as stir-fries and in other savory dishes. I would grow turnip greens if I have enough space. lol

Jolantru, what’s the name of your book? Is it in English?
