Was very excited to discover this potato plant growing straight out the side of the trolley today- it’s poked it’s way through the hessian lining and is reaching for the sun! No idea how long it’s been there for, it’s quite big now but I’ve obviously never noticed it...

Definitely flowering- quite lovely white flowers. It’s interesting at this point I can clearly see the difference between the two types of potato I’ve got in here by the leaves. No idea which is which of course but the leaves are very distinct. -

Well, the buds of them, anyway. These have appeared on most of the potato plants in the trolley, which surprises me a little- I thought they’d be bigger before they got to this stage. Then again I’ve never seen a potato plant growing before, so what do I know?
