Sprouts and raised beds 1
Sprouts and raised beds—they don’t go together, but they’re united by happenstance. The corners for my raised bed arrived by mail today, and this evening I ordered organic sprout seeds so I could start growing sprouts to eat—some radishes, some broccoli, and some flax see...9°C / 49°F -

Caladium Breaking Dormancy and Inside the House garden
Sunny 30°C / 86°FAbout three weeks later than last year, but the Caladium leaf shoots have just broken through the surface. The pot has been outside in shade since mid-June and somewhat protected from the full deluge of rain we have had. But I’m sure the lack of warmth and sun has contributed to the delay.
