This is the only the second time in my (gardening) life that I have stayed in a house long enough to be able to choose my planting times, so I hope I have it right!
I’ve planted peas, broad beans and lettuce outside, and tomatoes and beans inside in a propagator.
I thought that the tulips and irises would be flowering by now, but I got the timing a bit off. I now need to raise the beans indoors until I have the space for them in the front garden.
The tomatoes and sunflowers will go in a line down the fence – I’ll dig them into the lawn as it won’t disturb it much and it maximises sunshine and growing space.
