Lots of work in the garden today, including various pruning, tidying and transplanting. Best of all, we managed to accomplish our main task of the day, which was setting up a couple of raised beds in the back garden. They still need a bit more topping up with soil but now I know that, as we start getting some vegetable seeds going during the spring, we will have somewhere to plant them out to.

I have also been tidying my seed collection and entering it in my stash. We have quite a few old seeds (including some nasturtiums that should have been planted by June 2006! … still worth a punt) but I am aiming to be a bit more organised in future.
