Ok man. I’ve lived here by the beach for a long time. 10 years.
Not ONCE have I ever come across a lizard.
Anyway…this little guy just showed up outta freakin nowhere! And he had a very wounded tail. He was bleeding. Someone’s pet perhaps? Or someone’s food for another pet? I don’t know.
One thing I do know. I’m from Arizona. I grew up with all kinds of lizards n thangs.
A lizards bloody tail is nothing to worry about.
He sure was neat lookin! (despite the blood) He’ll be fine. It is better to be free with a wounded tail than to be food with an unwounded tail.
