Currently digging out the 18" plant; still putting on flowers and fruit, and the only thing that fazed it was a giant hornworm and a giant puppy… the sister plant was pulled up yesterday.
update
In 5gal dark pot against a brick wall, lots of coffee grounds, watered with old rain. Seems happy.
temperature obsession update: nothing except most of the vines has been affected by the cold. I may not be completely crazy to remember last year’s frost— at this house— as 29 Dec.
