I am going to try something.

I am going to start hollyhock seeds now with the idea of planting them out next spring.

Recipe for success? or disaster?

1 packet Alcea rosea var. nigra seeds
1 tsp liquid seaweed fertiliser
1 cup room temperature water
planting mix and pots to taste

Combine the water and liquid seaweed in a cup or small bowl. Add the seeds and allow to soak overnight. Next morning, fill pots with planting mix and plant seeds 1/4 inch deep. Place in a cool sunny place and keep moist for 8 months. Hope.
