Ladybugs to the rescue!

Distracted by my newly-planted vegetables, it took until a few days ago for me to realize I had an aphid infestation on my hands. What a creepy garden pest – how have horror movies not been made involving such things?!

I’ve done three things to help fight off the aphids – including purchasing some dormant ladybugs, which I will release into the garden over the next week.

However, on my morning walk-about today, I discovered that there may be ladybugs in the ’hood after all. Huzzah!
