Lovely new color, and what’s even better is that it will not cause sterility or other problems if it crossbreeds with native Echinaceas.
This variety of Echinacea was created by a very ethical company named TerraNova. TerraNova is cool compared to other plant patenting companies because TN has a no-GMO policy. They do use advanced biotech such as plant cloning, but are not producing genetically modified plants, according to their spokesman and plant breeder, Dan Heims. I definitely like this company and their new Echinacea introductions! :)
