Teasing Georgia and Palais Royal roses are blooming. Also the white rose that my friend Mara has propagated from seeds collected from a very old plant is blooming for the first time. A Shropshire lad rose -as in the previous year – is not doing well: it’s a rather scrubby plant, with just one small flower.
