repellent spray worked and the carrots are now growing
Friday, 25 Jun 10 26°C / 79°F
It’s been a couple weeks since i started spraying the perimeter of the bed with an all-natural repellent spray. No sign of groundhogs, and the carrots actually have tops (see photo)! I only sprayed it around the carrots, but since then nobody has come to bother the salad greens growing in the next bed over either. For those who are interested, the spray is called “Get Away” and it’s made by Havahart. Don’t spray it on anything you care about though. The second photo below shows leaf burn on the weeds growing where I sprayed.
