Work colleagues have had their tender veg braving the outside temperatures for a while now, so I’ve decided to move all the beans and most of the tomato seedlings to the top shelf of the greenhouse (pic 1). I’m sure they’ll be fine as weather is relatively mild now and even if it does get low over this Bank Holiday weekend, there’s still the protection of the plastic cover.
I’ve decided to keep the chillies and aubergines inside, as well as another 20 odd tomato seedlings just because there wasn’t any more room on the top shelf of the greenhouse.
The first strawberry flowers have sprouted (pic 2) and the broad beans are growing nice and strong (pic 3).
Also the salad sowing made on the weekend are starting to germinate.
