In the quiet of the rain today, all things seem to perk up. This is really proper spring weather, and the early late spring warmth threatened to overtake the delicacy of spring blooms and budding all at once, greedily.
I do really wonder what the acer palmatum will look like as it leafs out. Its leaf buds are so odd and fascinating.
