FINALLY! I managed to collect some Pink Bindweed (Convolvulus erubescens) Seeds!
This wonderful creeping plant has bright pink flowers and can literally survive being cut at the base or burnt to the ground. Not only that the tuber can apparently be eaten as was (is?) done by the local aboriginal tribes.
Last time I it flowered it only have a few flowers and the seed structures disappeared without a trace. I had thought the seeds were too small and rear to collect, but today I found that they are fairly large and contained in an almost bulb like structure, each one containing 2-4 seeds.
Common in the wild, but near impossible to buy! (and as usual with the plants I collect and grow I am the only one on Folia to have any :P)
