Doing this will protect the beds from the cats, but also keep of the bugs and £25 for 2m x 50m well worth the money. The bark path between the the two new beds is laid, just need some more bark to finish it off along with a canny bit of top soil to fill the beds up. I was going to use my compost that has been brewing for sometime in the plastic 'dalek' type compost bins, but it needs a probably another spring before being of any use! As we are in for a wet couple of days looks like I will be doing some veg planning on the computer for next year including for the first time sowing onion seeds. The garden especially the fruit trees and bushes are maturing nicely and the garden is looking more like a it can be productive.
