I got a closer look, and he had managed to bite all of the tops off of my chives, all the way to the dirt!! He also must have dug up my oregano a couple of days ago, because the roots were dry, and the leaves were drying. I don't no if the poor thing will survive or not. This was its first year. :(( He is a sweet heart, and he knew that he was in trouble because there was no struggle, he did exactly what I told him to do. He was also caught around the supports for the deck, so I unclasped his lead from his collar, lead him off of the bed, told him to sit, which he did, snaked his lead out from under the deck, and reattached him. What a mess!! If I had a fork lift, I would move that bed, even though I wanted it there. It is not any good if the family pet just goes tearing through it all the time. Frustrated.
