These have grown very quickly and we are harvesting as much as we can using it in salads and on sandwiches but we have so much we end up giving some away to the family to use it up in its prime..
With the couple of hot days we have had recently i have noticed that they are starting to get a little tall, so that means they are going to seed and if left any longer the leaves will go bitter.. But how much lettuce can one family eat..Truly!!
