6oz of Oregon Giant Snow Pea's harvested this morning along with 3oz of Sorrano Peppers. Have been also enjoying Butterhead Lettuce Sputnik Arugula and still going strong with cuttings from my herbs particularly the Genovese Basil, Santo Cilantro and Thai Lemongrass. Tomorrow Lib is coming by to pick up loads of Bright Lights Swiss Chard and some squash blossoms from the Yellow Crookneck and whatever herbs she fancy's. I cannot wait for the tasty culinary delights she comes up with.

While out in the Patch I gave everything a touch of Lady Bug 8-2-4 Organic fertilizer and a deep root soak. The bugs have gotten started as well as the snails but so far it is a fairly light damage. I know our first freeze isn’t far off so I am going to hold off on any treatment with neem or orange oil for now and just keep an eye on things. So far so good……..
