  <description>4 more figs have ripened.  They are small and it seems like the stem end is still a bit hard even as the other end over ripens.  A and the twins were over playing in the back yard and we &quot;harvested&quot;!  I did manage to get a photo before we scarfed them down, but barely!  The girls seemed to like the flavor but have trouble with the texture of the skins, they did better when I peeled one for them.  A likes to pick green beans off the vine and eat them raw, but the twins seem to think that's a better idea with fruit.  </description>
