And I finally got a photo that looks decent. I'm not the greatest photographer in the world anyway, add in the complication of a flower that blooms in the dark and I'm in trouble. I was up at dawn this morning and saw one that had not started closing up yet so I ran outside in my nightgown and bare feet to attempt a shot.

These plants didn't grow nearly as much as I had expected them to this summer. They were hard to germinate and not happy being transplanted. I only got two to live and then they just sat there. I guess they were working on roots in our clay soil. They are listed as an annual, but maybe I can keep them alive over the winter.
