Well, we have jumped from Winter to 5 days of Spring straight into Summer. No mild days cavorting in the warm weather, skipping though the flower beds, no, it's HOT. Yesterday was a lovely 33C. The wilting weather has begun!
We harvested Garlic & onions yesterday as i needed the space for zuchinni. The garlic is so sweet & the onions are potent. They are curing on a wire rack for a few days before i get to storing/using them. All of the first sowing of corn is going well. Beans planted and squash. Atlantic Giant pumpkin went out the front but all of the young pumpkins are suffering in the heat.
Celery is getting removed today, well most of , to make room for snap peas. Also need to get rid of the sweet pea and put in some silverbeet.
Lots to do, not much inclination in the heat.
