<description>Does anyone know what could be wrong with my Portulica?

It used to be in the 'Chucks Front Door' garden, but it is not frost hardy so I brought it inside. Before I lifted it I noticed that it was a little bit wilted and I thought perhaps a chicken had sat on it. However, it has been inside in the cold conservatory for about 3 weeks and it is rapidly loosing all its leaves. It is still looks wilted but does not need watering.

Before I brought it inside, I had taken some cuttings and these seem fine. I am wondering if it had been affected by the cold even though there has not yet been a frost? I don't think it is supposed to be an inside plant and I'm not sure how to revive it! It is very tempting to give it a good 'haircut' as there seem to be small side shoots developing. However, the side shoots are also wilty :(
