Harvested the Amaranth by rolling the seed heads in my hand and letting the grains fall out. Put the amaranth grains through a strainer but some small red flowers were not separated from the grains. I washed the amaranth but both the grains and the flowers floated. I’m now drying the grains and flowers to see if some sort of winnowing might be possible. Anyone know how to separate the grains from the flowers?
