Hmmm....do you think if I DIDN'T tell anyone these were mini carrots that they'd know? Yeah....probably. I have, no doubt, planted these into a container that is not deep enough. It's a very deep window box and they started out very well, but upon harvesting them, they obviously did not develop well. Hey, for my very first try for carrots, I'm just thrilled I got ONE carrot, much less more.
