It looked a picture of health a few weeks ago Though there were no fruits on it. I then noticed a couple of tiny fruits in July. Breathing a sigh of relief i convinced myself that it was ok and those fruits just wouldn't amount to much this year but a least it's fruiting.. I put it down to me forgetting to cover it in the winter.. This year we had snow, heavy snow and i was convinced it had died, then come spring it burst into life.. we then had a mini heatwave {think it liked that } followed by heavy storms.
I've been giving it regular feeds as its being grown in a large pot and it looked happy enough until last week. I noticed brown spots on the leaves, all the leaves are covered with them. The poor thing is stressed and now has Rust.. I'm spraying a Bordeaux mix on the leaves, hopefully this will work along with removing some of the soil in the pot and replacing it with new.. I also need to find a sheltered spot near my shed to move it too. Where it is now isn't as sheltered as i thought or like, which may entail a fence of some kind....
