  <description>It was red ... I reached out to touch it to see if was ready and it fell off the vine! Guess that means it's ready!!! 


Without a doubt it's a cool looking tomato! This is the first one, and it's didn't grow as big as it should have, but it's still really neat. 


The taste ... hmmm ... not the best ever. Unsalted, it's very tart. Salt brings out some sweetness and balances it out nicely. To eat it you tear off the little chunks ... totally fun! The biggest problem is the mega thick-skin. It's so thick, I couldn't even chew it and ended up spitting it out. 


Conclusions: I will grow this again next year. I'm hoping the taste, size and thick skin will improve in the future fruit but even if they don't it's just too darn cool-looking to not have a spot in the garden. </description>
