got a bag of potting mix from work and did some remodeling. tore out a spent cilantro and replaced it with musk mallow. potted up my Chilean guava, yama imo, tobacco, date plum, a couple of Maypops, and a couple of hot peppers.
the Chilean guava stem cracked in a storm months ago, and I broke it a little more during the move, but I think it’s going to survive. it’s tied to a stake and leaning against a wall.
yama imo, maypops, and hot peppers are in one pot. probably not the ideal guild, but I think they’ll get along.
I’m blocking more and more of the balcony for my neighbors and roommates, but no one has complained yet.

I wouldn’t complain either, as long as you fed me. (English has an inadequate subjunctive)
