I never knew that *rabbits can climb*!!! Seriously, why didn't I get this memo?

So I'm finishing up some potted potatoes, having scavenged a planter from the other side of the yard, when little bunny comes out of his favorite hole in the lawn and hops towards my garden. Hop hop hop. I decide to sneak up on him and scare him while he's hanging around, so I get up and go around to where he should be sitting. Except I don't see him. I look around and spot him, IN my garden (12 inch raised bed!), nestled in the square of peas, chewing on a pea plant. Not just eating a pea pod, but EATING THE PLANT!!

So, my lovely garden is getting a fence, tomorrow. I've already given it some red pepper flakes, more repellant spray, and a temporary barrier of stakes.

I'd better not see him again. Rabbits are tasty.
