  <description>I've never hardened things off before. I'm a wild and crazy type. Plus, it seems like a huge bother. Also, they've all seemed to do well enough.

Except, apparently, during a 90 degree heat wave in the full sun veggie garden.

Which is to say, that I will not be finding out what new zealand spinach tastes like this year. (insert curses here)

Incidentally, the columbine that I transplanted the same weekend, from the same trays, with the same (none) hardening off, but into a shady place under a tree? Thriving.</description>
